Welcome to Golden Rays. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. General
- The Sultanate of Oman is our country of domicile.
- Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
- Minors under the age of 18 shall are prohibited to register as a User of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.
2. Booking Policy
- All room bookings are subject to availability.
- A booking is confirmed only after full payment is received.
- Guests will receive a payment confirmation by email within 24 hours of successful payment.
- The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
- The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account.
3. Check-in and Check-out
- Standard check-in time: 12:00 PM
- Standard check-out time: 12:00 PM
- Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Guest Responsibilities
- Guests are expected to maintain proper conduct during their stay.
- Any damage to property, facilities, or amenities will be charged to the guest.
- Illegal activities are strictly prohibited and may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
5. Payment
- We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in OMR.
- Payments are processed securely through our authorized payment gateway.
- Rates displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes and service charges (unless otherwise stated).
- Multiple transactions may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.
6. OFAC Sanctioned Countries
- Golden Rays Hotel will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of the Sultanate of Oman.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
- All cancellations and refund requests must be made by calling our customer service team.
- 60% of the booking amount will be refunded for cancellations made any time before check-in.
- No refund for cancellations made on the day of check-in or for no-shows.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Golden Rays will not be liable for losses due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, internet outages, power failures, or third-party service disruptions.
- We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings during the stay.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
- Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Oman.
10. Policy Updates
- The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore the Customers' are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellations by Guest
- Guests must contact our customer service team directly to request a cancellation.
- 60% of the booking amount will be refunded for cancellations made any time before check-in.
- No refund for cancellations made on the day of check-in or for no-shows.
2. Cancellations by Hotel
- In the unlikely event that Golden Rays cancels your booking, a 100% refund will be issued.
- Guests will be informed via the contact details provided at booking.
3. No-shows
- Guests who fail to arrive on the check-in date without prior cancellation are not eligible for a refund.
4. Refund Processing
- Refunds will be made onto the original mode of payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 days depending on the issuing bank of the credit card.
